Our shower and bath mats use suction cups to help secure the mat to a suitable smooth base. A textured surface offers traction underfoot, while drainage holes allow water to flow through.
Our absorbent floor mats have a soft face to soak up splashes, a waterproof barrier to protect the floor beneath and anti-slip backing to help the mat sit flat on a suitable floor.
Anti-slip performance depends on the surface, placement and care. No mat can eliminate the risk of slipping or falling. Absorbent floor mats are not for inside shower recesses or bathtubs.

Use on smooth, flat, non-textured hard flooring. Keep the underside and floor beneath clean and dry, and check the mat lies flat. Moisture or cleaning residue underneath can affect grip.
A LITTLE CARE GOES A LONG WAY
Keep your mat in good condition and follow its product instructions. These simple habits help it do its job.
Hand wash with warm water and mild detergent as needed. Rinse thoroughly. Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron or use harsh chemicals.
Avoid bleach and fabric softener. Do not hang over a line or railing, as this may cause warping.

No. Conni absorbent floor mats are designed for the floor outside the shower or bath. Inside, choose a Conni shower mat for a suitable clean, smooth base.
They do different jobs, so they can work alongside each other: a shower mat for traction inside, and an absorbent floor mat to catch drips outside. Check each surface is suitable before use.
Measure your space before ordering. Inside the shower or bath, the whole mat needs to lie flat with its suction cups engaged on a suitable base. Outside, choose a footprint that fits without obstructing doors or walkways.
Shower mats with suction cups are not suitable for textured or pre-treated anti-slip bases. Use only on a suitable smooth surface and check the mat is securely positioned before every use.
Yes, but their care differs. Rinse and hang the shower mat to air dry; hand wash as needed. Wash both sides of an absorbent floor mat with soapy water and dry flat. Follow the instructions supplied with your mat.
